Surgical Expertise

Dr. Lent’s surgical portfolio is distinguished by a breadth that spans both cosmetic and reconstructive domains, each performed with a meticulous attention to detail and a focus on natural, harmonious results. In the realm of cosmetic surgery, his signature procedures include rhinoplasty, facelifts, and eyelid rejuvenation, where he employs a blend of traditional open techniques and minimally invasive endoscopic approaches to minimize scarring and accelerate recovery. His mastery of facial anatomy enables him to sculpt subtle yet impactful changes, preserving the patient’s unique facial identity while enhancing aesthetic balance. Dr. Lent’s commitment to individualized planning is evident in his use of three‑dimensional imaging software, which allows patients to visualize potential outcomes and make informed decisions before entering the operating room.

Reconstructive surgery forms a cornerstone of Dr. Lent’s practice, reflecting his dedication to restoring function and appearance after trauma, oncologic resection, or congenital anomalies. He has performed countless microsurgical free‑flap reconstructions, including deep‑inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flaps for breast reconstruction and radial forearm free flaps for head and neck defects. His expertise in complex wound management, scar revision, and tissue expansion has earned him a reputation as a go‑to surgeon for challenging cases that demand both technical precision and compassionate care. Dr. Lent’s reconstructive work is characterized by an emphasis on preserving donor‑site aesthetics and minimizing morbidity, employing innovative techniques such as perforator‑preserving flap harvest and pre‑operative virtual surgical planning.

Among his most sought‑after procedures is breast augmentation, where Dr. Lent combines an artistic eye with scientific rigor to achieve results that are both aesthetically pleasing and physiologically sound. He offers a spectrum of implant options—silicone, saline, and anatomically shaped devices—tailored to each patient’s chest wall dimensions, tissue characteristics, and lifestyle considerations. His approach includes meticulous pre‑operative measurements, strategic incision placement, and precise pocket dissection to ensure optimal implant positioning and minimize complications such as capsular contracture or implant malposition. Dr. Lent’s expertise also extends to breast reconstruction, where he employs autologous tissue techniques, oncoplastic strategies, and adjunctive fat grafting to achieve symmetry and natural feel after mastectomy.

In the field of facial rejuvenation, Dr. Lent is renowned for his innovative use of combined modalities—injectables, laser resurfacing, and surgical lifts—to address the multifactorial nature of aging. He expertly administers neuromodulators and dermal fillers, leveraging his deep understanding of facial dynamics to achieve subtle, long‑lasting enhancements. His laser repertoire includes fractional CO₂ resurfacing, non‑ablative radiofrequency, and intense pulsed light therapy, each selected based on the patient’s skin type, photodamage, and aesthetic goals. For patients seeking more dramatic transformation, Dr. Lent performs comprehensive facelift procedures, employing techniques such as deep plane dissection, SMAS plication, and vector‑oriented tissue tightening to restore youthful contours while preserving natural facial expressions.

Body contouring is another pillar of Dr. Lent’s practice, where he utilizes advanced liposuction technologies—including power‑assist, ultrasound‑assisted, and laser‑assisted systems—to sculpt the abdomen, flanks, thighs, and arms with precision. He complements these techniques with complementary procedures such as abdominoplasty, thigh lifts, and arm lifts, offering a holistic approach to achieving harmonious body proportions.
