Surgical Expertise

Dr. Vanek’s surgical repertoire is anchored in a deep understanding of anatomy, aesthetic proportion, and the nuanced expectations of his patients. In the realm of breast augmentation, he employs a patient‑specific approach, meticulously selecting implant type, size, and placement to achieve a natural silhouette that complements each individual’s torso and lifestyle. He utilizes cutting‑edge techniques such as the dual‑plane method and autologous fat grafting to enhance contour and address asymmetry, delivering results that are both durable and harmonious. His expertise extends to complex revisionary cases, where he skillfully navigates scar tissue, capsule contracture, and implant malposition, restoring both form and function with precision and minimal downtime.

Facial rejuvenation is another cornerstone of Dr. Vanek’s practice, encompassing a spectrum of procedures from minimally invasive injectables to comprehensive facelift surgeries. He combines the artistry of facial sculpting with the science of tissue preservation, employing techniques such as deep plane rhytidectomy, endoscopic brow lifts, and volume restoration through hyaluronic acid fillers. By integrating pre‑operative 3‑D imaging and computer‑aided simulation, he provides patients with realistic visualizations of anticipated outcomes, fostering informed decision‑making and heightened satisfaction. His nuanced approach to facial aesthetics ensures that each patient retains their unique character while achieving a refreshed, youthful appearance.

Beyond aesthetic enhancements, Dr. Vanek is an accomplished reconstructive plastic surgeon, adept at managing complex trauma, oncologic reconstructions, and congenital deformities. He has performed countless free‑flap reconstructions for head and neck cancer patients, utilizing microsurgical techniques to restore both function and appearance after tumor excision. In the domain of body contouring, he offers comprehensive solutions such as abdominoplasty, thigh lift, and liposuction, employing advanced technologies like laser‑assisted lipolysis to improve skin tightening and reduce postoperative bruising. Additionally, he provides a suite of non‑surgical aesthetic treatments—including laser resurfacing, chemical peels, and radiofrequency skin tightening—that complement surgical interventions and address the diverse needs of his patients throughout their aesthetic journey.
