Surgical Expertise

Dr. McRae’s surgical repertoire spans the full spectrum of plastic and reconstructive procedures, with a particular emphasis on family medicine principles that prioritize overall health and functional outcomes. In her practice, she routinely performs complex facial rejuvenation surgeries, including rhytidectomy, brow lifts, and mid‑face lifts, employing meticulous dissection techniques that preserve neurovascular structures and minimize scarring. Her approach to facial aesthetics is grounded in the concept of “natural harmony,” where each incision, graft, and contour is tailored to the patient’s unique facial geometry, ensuring results that are subtle yet transformative. Advanced imaging technology and three‑dimensional modeling assist her in pre‑operative planning, allowing her to anticipate tissue behavior and achieve optimal symmetry.

Beyond traditional surgical interventions, Dr. McRae is a pioneer in integrative medicine, blending conventional surgical care with evidence‑based complementary therapies. She incorporates nutritional optimization, acupuncture, and mind‑body techniques into her peri‑operative protocol, recognizing that these modalities can enhance wound healing, reduce inflammation, and improve patient comfort.
