Dr. Albert’s academic journey began at the University of Michigan Medical School, where he earned his MD with honors, distinguishing himself through a combination of scholarly rigor and clinical curiosity. While at Michigan, he immersed himself in a broad spectrum of medical disciplines, but it was the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery that ignited his passion for transformative procedures. He contributed to pioneering research on tissue engineering, co‑authoring papers that explored the regenerative potential of stem cells in facial reconstruction. His dedication to both the scientific and aesthetic aspects of surgery earned him multiple awards, including the Dean’s Award for Clinical Excellence, and positioned him as a rising star among his peers.
Following medical school, Dr. Albert pursued a highly competitive residency in Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone Health, one of the nation’s premier training programs. Over the course of seven intensive years, he mastered the full spectrum of reconstructive and aesthetic procedures, ranging from microsurgical free‑flap transfers to complex facial rejuvenation techniques. His mentors praised his innate hand‑eye coordination, strategic problem‑solving, and unwavering composure under pressure—attributes that would later define his surgical style.
