Meet Jason Green: Philosophy and Approach
Jason Green, MD, stands at the intersection of artistic vision and surgical precision, embodying a philosophy that treats the human body as both a functional masterpiece and a canvas for self‑expression. From the earliest days of his medical career, Dr. Green cultivated a belief that true plastic surgery transcends mere alteration; it is an act of empowerment that restores confidence, revitalizes identity, and honors the intrinsic uniqueness of each patient. He approaches every consultation with a compassionate ear, delving deep into the personal narratives that motivate individuals to seek change. By integrating psychological insight with anatomical expertise, Dr. Green ensures that his surgical plans are not only technically sound but also aligned with the patient’s emotional aspirations, thereby fostering outcomes that feel authentic and sustainable.
Central to Dr. Green’s practice is a commitment to individualized care, a principle that rejects one‑size‑fits‑all protocols in favor of bespoke treatment strategies. He meticulously maps each patient’s facial symmetry, skin quality, and body proportions, employing advanced three‑dimensional imaging to visualize postoperative results before the first incision. This preoperative dialogue is a collaborative process, wherein the patient’s aesthetic goals are weighed against realistic expectations, surgical feasibility, and long‑term health considerations. Dr. Green’s transparent communication style demystifies complex procedures, allowing patients to make informed decisions rooted in trust and mutual respect.
Beyond the operating room, Dr. Green champions a holistic approach to postoperative recovery, recognizing that the journey to renewed confidence extends into lifestyle, nutrition, and psychosocial support. He partners with a multidisciplinary team of dermatologists, physical therapists, and mental health professionals to construct comprehensive recovery pathways that minimize complications and accelerate healing. By fostering an environment where patients feel supported at every stage—from pre‑operative planning through long‑term follow‑up—Dr. Green creates lasting relationships that are as much about personal transformation as they are about surgical excellence.

Rigorous Medical Education and Training
Dr. Jason Green earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in 2019, graduating with honors and distinguishing himself as a leader among his peers. At UTMB, he immersed himself in a rigorous curriculum that blended cutting‑edge biomedical research with hands‑on clinical exposure, laying a robust foundation in anatomy, physiology, and surgical fundamentals. His commitment to academic excellence was reflected in a series of research publications focused on wound healing and tissue regeneration, topics that would later become central to his reconstructive practice. Throughout his medical school tenure, Dr. Green demonstrated a relentless curiosity, participating in summer research fellowships, presenting at national conferences, and serving as a mentor to underclassmen aspiring to surgical careers.
Following medical school, Dr. Green pursued an Integrated Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, spanning from 2019 to 2025. This demanding six‑year program offered a seamless blend of general surgery and specialized plastic surgery training, exposing him to a broad spectrum of cases ranging from complex craniofacial reconstructions to high‑volume aesthetic procedures. Under the mentorship of world‑renowned faculty, Dr. Green honed his technical skills in microsurgical techniques, flap design, and reconstructive planning, while also cultivating a nuanced understanding of patient selection, operative timing, and postoperative care. His residency culminated in a series of award‑winning case presentations, including a pioneering approach to peripheral nerve reconstruction that earned him the prestigious Resident of the Year accolade from the Texas Plastic Surgery Society in 2023.
To further refine his aesthetic expertise, Dr. Green completed a one‑year Fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery at The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery in Houston, Texas, from 2025 to 2026. This fellowship emphasized the latest advancements in minimally invasive technologies, facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and breast aesthetics. Working alongside a team of internationally recognized aesthetic surgeons, Dr. Green mastered laser resurfacing, fat grafting, and the use of novel biomaterials for soft‑tissue augmentation. He also participated in a research initiative that investigated the long‑term outcomes of combined liposuction and abdominoplasty, contributing valuable data to the field’s evidence‑based practice. The fellowship solidified Dr. Green’s reputation as a surgeon who blends artistic sensibility with scientific rigor, positioning him as a leading voice in Houston’s vibrant aesthetic community.
Surgical Expertise
Dr. Green’s surgical repertoire encompasses a full spectrum of plastic, reconstructive, aesthetic, and microsurgical procedures, each performed with meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to optimal outcomes. In the realm of reconstructive surgery, he has successfully managed complex trauma cases, including multi‑stage lower extremity reconstructions that required free‑tissue transfer, vascular anastomosis, and intricate flap monitoring. His proficiency in microsurgery enables him to restore form and function with precision, whether performing nerve repairs, replantations, or revascularizations that demand sub‑millimeter accuracy. Dr. Green’s reconstructive portfolio also includes breast reconstruction following mastectomy, where he employs both implant‑based and autologous techniques, such as the deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flap, to achieve natural‑looking results that honor the patient’s body image.
On the aesthetic front, Dr. Green is renowned for his ability to sculpt harmony and balance through both surgical and non‑surgical interventions. His practice includes facial rejuvenation procedures such as rhytidectomy, brow lifts, and blepharoplasty, each tailored to the patient’s unique facial architecture. He utilizes advanced technologies like ultrasonic liposuction, radiofrequency skin tightening, and injectable fillers to deliver subtle yet impactful enhancements. In body contouring, Dr. Green performs abdominoplasty, thigh lifts, and gluteal augmentation with a focus on preserving vascular integrity and minimizing scar visibility. His dedication to staying at the forefront of aesthetic innovation is evident in his adoption of emerging techniques like autologous fat grafting combined with stem‑cell enrichment, which has shown promising results in scar revision and volume restoration.
Beyond individual procedures, Dr. Green excels in comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment plans that address complex aesthetic concerns. He frequently collaborates with dermatologists, oncologists, and otolaryngologists to orchestrate combined interventions that achieve synergistic benefits—such as simultaneous facial nerve repair and cosmetic facelift, or coordinated breast reconstruction and nipple‑areolar complex reconstruction. This integrative approach not only streamlines patient care but also maximizes functional and aesthetic outcomes, reinforcing Dr. Green’s reputation as a surgeon who delivers holistic, patient‑centered solutions.
