He graduated with honors, having contributed to multiple peer‑reviewed publications focusing on craniofacial development and innovative reconstructive techniques, signaling an early commitment to advancing the field.

Following medical school, Dr. Soares pursued a residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Emory University, a program renowned for its rigorous clinical exposure and surgical volume. Over the course of seven intensive years, he refined his mastery of airway management, oncologic resections, and complex reconstructive procedures. The residency demanded not only technical dexterity but also the ability to make rapid, high‑stakes decisions in the operating room, experiences that honed his poise under pressure and deepened his understanding of tissue dynamics. He emerged as a board‑certified otolaryngologist with a reputation for meticulous technique and compassionate patient care.

Recognizing a burgeoning passion for aesthetic and reconstructive facial surgery, Dr. Soares completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami. This fellowship offered a unique blend of academic rigor and hands‑on experience in cutting‑edge procedures, ranging from rhinoplasty to facial rejuvenation and craniofacial reconstruction. Under the mentorship of world‑class faculty, he refined his aesthetic judgment, learned to integrate emerging technologies such as 3‑D printing and laser resurfacing, and contributed to groundbreaking research on scar minimization. The culmination of this training equipped Dr. Soares with a comprehensive skill set that seamlessly bridges the art of facial aesthetics with the science of reconstructive surgery, positioning him as a leader in both domains.

Surgical Expertise

Rhinoplasty stands as one of Dr. Soares’ signature procedures, a discipline in which he blends sculptural artistry with anatomical precision to achieve harmonious nasal contours. Whether addressing functional obstruction, correcting post‑traumatic deformities, or enhancing aesthetic proportion, he employs a meticulous open or closed approach tailored to each patient’s unique nasal architecture. His expertise extends to the use of autologous grafts, cartilage reshaping, and advanced tip refinement techniques, ensuring outcomes that are both structurally sound and aesthetically balanced. Patients consistently praise his ability to preserve natural facial symmetry while delivering subtle, lasting improvements that age gracefully.

In the realm of facial rejuvenation, Dr. Soares offers a comprehensive suite of procedures that target the multifactorial signs of aging. His repertoire includes facelift (rhytidectomy) techniques that respect the underlying facial musculature, minimizing tension and preserving neurovascular integrity, as well as minimally invasive options such as thread lifts, Botox, and dermal fillers. He integrates emerging technologies like ultrasound‑assisted liposuction and radiofrequency skin tightening, allowing for precise contouring and collagen remodeling with reduced downtime. By combining surgical and non‑surgical modalities, he crafts individualized rejuvenation plans that address skin laxity, volume loss, and textural changes, delivering natural‑looking results that reflect each patient’s unique aesthetic goals.

Hair restoration represents another pillar of Dr. Soares’ practice, where he applies state‑of‑the‑art follicular unit extraction (FUE) and transplantation techniques to restore density and confidence. He remains at the forefront of regenerative medicine, incorporating platelet‑rich plasma (PRP) therapy and low‑level laser treatment to enhance graft survival and stimulate native hair growth. His comprehensive pre‑operative assessment includes scalp analysis, donor site evaluation, and realistic goal setting, ensuring that each patient receives a tailored plan that maximizes both cosmetic outcome and long‑term hair health. Through a blend of precision surgery and adjunctive therapies, Dr. Soares has helped countless individuals reclaim a youthful appearance and renewed self‑esteem.
